Yesterday, Friday, something beautiful happened in the heart of CRR, rural Gambia.

What began as a simple shelter project turned into an emotional moment that brought an entire community to tears and celebration. A vulnerable family who once had no safe place to call home now has dignity, security, and hope.

As the doors opened, tears flowed, prayers were raised, and joy filled the air. Children smiled, elders blessed, and the whole village stood together—reminding us why we do this work. This is more than a house. It is restored hope, answered prayers, and proof that humanity is still alive.
