Home Construction Project by HMD Charity

A home is more than just a shelter — it’s a place of safety, belonging, and hope. Through HMD Charity’s Home Construction Project, we aim to rebuild lives by providing secure and dignified housing for vulnerable families who have lost everything due to poverty, natural disasters, or conflict.

Our mission is to ensure that every family has a solid foundation to start anew — a roof over their heads, protection from harsh weather, and a space where children can grow in peace and comfort.

Each home we build represents stability, compassion, and a fresh beginning. With your support, we help families move from despair to independence, restoring their dignity and giving them the chance to live with hope and security once again.

Orphanage Support by HMD Charity

Every child deserves a safe place to call home — a place filled with care, comfort, and love. HMD Charity’s Orphanage Support Project is dedicated to building and maintaining orphanages that provide shelter, care, and stability to children who have lost parental support.

These orphanages go beyond meeting basic needs like food, clothing, and shelter. They create a nurturing environment where children can learn, heal, and thrive — offering access to education, healthcare, and emotional guidance that are vital for their growth and future.

HMDmasjid projects are aimed at providing poverty-stricken communities with a secure and clean place to pray and connect as a community. These centres are built in both remote and city locations throughout West Africa, providing communities with a safe space to worship Allah SWT in peace and comfort. These centres also serve as a source of bonding and learning for many newly reverted Muslims and provide the community with educational opportunities where children and adults can learn to read and recite the Quran.

These Centres host the weekly Jumua prayers on Fridays, Eid prayers, daily prayers and Iftar/Ramadan prayers.  They can comfortably accommodate between 150-500 people at any given time!

Small Masjid(Help construct a masjid block for communities without masjids in Africa) costing £7000

Community Masjid (Be a part of creating a sacred space for the community, by supporting the construction of a main masjid block and medium masjid, each with a spacious praying area of 150 sqm). Costing £10,000

Grand Masjid (Your donation can bring a new sacred space to life for a large community, by helping to construct a main masjid block and a grand mosque, with a spacious praying area of 250 sqm.) costing £30,000

Prayer mat (A clean and comfortable prayer mat is essential for our Muslim brothers and sisters in West Africa to perform their daily prayers.)

Basic Wudu area (Your support can provide basic wudu facilities for masjids) £1000
