Help HMD Charity open Crystal Garden International — an independent Islamic primary school in Kerr Serign, The Gambia. Faith, knowledge and character. Opening September 2026.
Every donation helps build classrooms, fund scholarships, and create a legacy of Sadaqah Jariyah at Crystal Garden International.
Give What You Can →Every child is a trust from Allah and deserves an education that nurtures not only the mind, but the heart, character, and soul. Crystal Garden International is built on exactly that principle — tested through a real pilot cohort before opening its doors.
Rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah — every child develops a strong Islamic identity and lives their faith with pride and purpose.
Islamic education blended with international academics and STEAM — preparing pupils for a rapidly changing world.
True success is measured by who a child becomes — leadership, service, and strong values are built into every school day.
A 2025 pilot cohort put every system to the test. What opens in September 2026 is refined, proven, and ready.
We’re 35% of the way to our £250,000 goal. Help us get there — and earn ongoing reward for every student who passes through these doors.

Yes. The Prophet ﷺ said that when a person dies, their deeds end — except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them. Every lesson taught in this school is a form of beneficial knowledge, creating ongoing reward for every donor.
Yes. A significant portion of every donation funds full and partial scholarships for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. No child will be turned away solely due to financial hardship.
Once operational, school fees will sustain the institution and help fund wider HMD Charity humanitarian projects — ensuring your donation continues to generate impact far beyond the classroom.
Absolutely. Many donors give in memory of parents or family members. You can note this when completing your donation and we will include them in our ongoing prayers.
Every lesson taught and every child educated becomes part of your Sadaqah Jariyah — a reward that outlasts this life.
